Consistent wire feed rates are critical for maximum performance of your handheld laser welding system. Most manufacturers use liners from GMAW equipment, which has a large inner diameter resulting in wire movement at the torch as the user manipulates the torch around a part. If you have observed your wire slipping in and out or left and right as you make welds, HLI’s Pro Liner solves these issues for 1/16” wire by using a tighter inner diameter (1.8 mm ID vs. the stock 2.6 mm ID liners). The Pro Liner is more than just an inner liner, the mounting hardware has also been modified for increased grip–resulting in the smoothest and most consistent wire feeding platform on the market.
The Pro Liner is a plug and play solution for your LightWELD system. It ships as a fully assembled whip with both wire feed and nozzle adapters along with a single 1/16” contact tip.
We currently offer Pro Liners for 1/16” wire only–0.035” and 0.045” liners are also in development.
